Day-by-day itinerary
Simply pack your bag for a 3-hour flight to Hanoi ”“ the charming ancient capital. Arrive at Hanoi International Airport, please proceed through immigration and customs, and make your way to the exterior arrivals area, using the exit indicated for your flight on the arrival marquee (either exit A1 or A2). Our guide will be waiting here for you holding a pickup sign then escort you to Hanoi center for city orientation. Breakfast will be served along the way . You have a day to discover Vietnam’s charming capital. The first stop would be Tran Quoc Pagoda then Ho Chi Minh Complex. Taste amazing Vietnamese cuisine at traditional Home Moc Vietnamese Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit St. Joseph Cathedral for religious activity, then experience the bustling old quarter by electric cart. Time to shop at the Old Quarter or Dong Xuan market. Dinner at Lotus Buffet Restaurant then your overnight will be in Hanoi. Hanoi is the oldest capital city in Southeast Asia. Up to now, Hanoi has been one of the few cities in Asia left entirely void of the Western-style boxy business architecture. We Hanoi people regard our capital city as the heart of Vietnam. Hanoi has always been a symbol of culture and a source of pride throughout the history.
AM: Pickup at your hotel in Hanoi from 08:30-08:45 (approx. 2.5 hrs drive). Your heavenly journey across Ha Long Bay starts around noon at the doorstep of Vietnam's most fascinating wonder. 10:00-11:30: Check in at Ambassador’s Lounge (1st Floor, Terminal ”“ Ha Long International Cruise Port, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City). 11:45-12:30: Passengers are transferred to Ambassador Signature Cruise (in Gia Luan Pier) by speedboat. 12:30-12:45: A short welcoming briefing will be held at the Piano Lounge or at the restaurant, whilst you are sipping our special welcome drink. 12:45-14:00: Savor a delicious lunch whilst enjoying the majestic views of Lan Ha Bay’s islands and islets. 15:00-16:45: Your first excursion is Viet Hai Fishing Village ”“ a primitive and tranquil location with precious traditional cultural values. You will have a chance to explore features of the locals’ daily life, visit fish lakes, bee houses, ancient houses, or experience fish foot massage. 15:45-16:15: For guests who are not participating in the excursion, we will serve home-made cakes at the Piano Lounge. Guests can also stay onboard and opt for an afternoon of pampering at Spa or relaxing on the Sundeck whilst admiring the magnificent scenery of Lan Ha Bay. 17:30-18:30: At sundown, Ambassador Signature Cruise will anchor overnight. This is the perfect time for you to enjoy cooking class or Happy Hour and Canapes at the Piano Lounge or on the Sundeck (depends on weather conditions). 19:00: Savor a delicious dinner with Chef’s special menu at the restaurant. DRESS CODE: FORMAL / SEMI-FORMAL / SMART CASUAL 21:00-23:00: After dinner, indulge in drinks and enjoy live music at the Piano Lounge, squid fishing, a spa treatment, or movies at your cabin. NOTES: DUE TO CRUISING CONDITIONS, ITINERARIES MAY CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. WI-FI IS AVAILABLE IN THE RESTAURANT/BAR AREA, BUT INTERNET CONNECTIVITY IS LIMITED DUE TO THE GEOGRAPHY OF HA LONG.
06:00-6:30: Start your day with a Tai Chi Session on the sundeck or at the Piano Lounge (depends on weather conditions). 06:30-07:00: Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, and freshly baked pastries at the Piano Lounge. 07:00-08:00: Explore Dark and Bright Cave ”“ a frog-jaw-shaped cave featuring marvelous sparkling stalactites in various shapes and sizes on the arch-shaped ceiling. This cave leads to a peaceful lake surrounded by limestone mountain cliffs. Kayaking and sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by locals are the best options for tourists to explore the cave’s interior. 08:30-09:30: Full breakfast is served at the restaurant. 09:30-09:45: Bill settlement and check-out at the reception at the first deck. 10:15-10:30: After disembarking from Ambassador Signature Cruise, passengers will be transferred to Ha Long International Cruise Port by speedboat. Your dream cruise will come to an end at the Ha Long International Cruise Port at 10:30. Return to Hanoi for lunch at Net Hue Restaurant then hotel check-in for refreshments. Proceed to Hanoi Train Street and try the famous Egg Coffee.
Early check out of your hotel with a breakfast box, at 05:45 AM you will be transferred to the airport for a flight back to Manila. Arrival in Manila. NOTE: The itinerary may be adjusted based on your flight details, weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances.

Cherry blossom season was magical
The timing at Hanoi - Halong Bay was perfect — full bloom during our visit. The parks were a sea of pink and white and the atmosphere was genuinely festive and beautiful. Our local guide knew all the best spots and the best times to arrive before crowds. Unforgettable experience.
Smooth from Manila to destination and back
Every detail of the Hanoi - Halong Bay trip was taken care of — visa guidance, airport assistance, hotel transfers, daily tours. We never felt confused or stranded at any point. Our tour coordinator was always reachable. This level of thoughtful service is genuinely rare.
Great but a bit rushed
The Hanoi - Halong Bay itinerary covers a lot of ground which is both a strength and a weakness. We got to see so much in a short time but occasionally wished we could linger longer. Still a fantastic experience overall and the logistics were completely flawless.

The price-to-experience ratio for Hanoi - Halong Bay is exceptional. Compared to booking everything separately, this package saved us significant money while adding the comfort of having a coordinator available if anything went wrong. Hotels were well-located and comfortable throughout.

One of the best parts of our Hanoi - Halong Bay trip was the food culture our guide introduced us to. Skip the tourist restaurants — the street food scene is extraordinary. We tried things we never would have found or ordered alone, and every single bite was worth it. Food tourism done right.
