Snorkeling was world-class
The reef at Camiguin is in genuinely excellent condition — one of the healthiest I've snorkeled in the Philippines. We saw parrotfish, lionfish, a hawksbill sea turtle, and what I'm fairly sure was a blue-spotted stingray. The biodiversity is astonishing for how accessible this spot is.
Bucket list destination: checked!
Had Camiguin on my bucket list for years and finally made it happen. Zero regrets. The whole experience from booking to the actual trip was completely smooth. Our guide grew up locally and his stories about the place added so much depth to every stop we made.
Best trip of my life
I've traveled to many places in the Philippines but Camiguin topped them all. The snorkeling spots were teeming with colorful marine life and the beaches were postcard-perfect. Transfers, boat, lunch, snorkeling gear — everything was handled without a single hiccup.
Went back for a second trip!
Loved Camiguin so much the first time that we booked again a few days later for friends who arrived late to the island. Both trips were excellent. Slightly different route the second time but equally beautiful stops everywhere. Truly special.
