Bicol is criminally underrated

Legazpi is such an underrated travel destination. Beyond the volcano, the food (real Bicol Express is life-changing!), the beaches, and the warmth of the people make this region exceptional. This package showed us the very best of it. We'll definitely be back.

Adventure and nature in one

Hiking toward an active volcano near Legazpi with an experienced guide, cooling off at hidden waterfalls, then sampling the legendary local cuisine — this itinerary had absolutely everything. This region punches way above its weight as a destination.

Worth waiting for the clouds to clear

We had cloud cover in the morning at Legazpi but our patient guide waited and the sky cleared beautifully around midday. The full cone revealed against a blue sky was spectacular. The Cagsawa ruins in the foreground is one of the most iconic views in the Philippines.

Mayon is awe-inspiring

Seeing the perfect cone rise above the Legazpi landscape is something you never forget. Our guide shared local legends and scientific information about the volcano in equal measure. The lava field trek brought the raw power of nature very close — genuinely humbling.
