Beautiful island, warm people
The beaches near Cebu + Bohol are gorgeous — white sand, clear warm water, and far fewer crowds than the more famous beach destinations. The people are exceptionally friendly and proud of their home. Dolphin watching at dawn was an incredible bonus we didn't expect.
Perfect countryside tour
The Cebu + Bohol day tour covered everything beautifully. Chocolate Hills at sunrise, tarsier sanctuary, Loboc River lunch cruise, and the hanging bridge. Each stop was fascinating in its own way. Our guide Mang Tony was hilarious and encyclopedic in his knowledge. Excellent value.
Chocolate Hills exceeded the hype
I'd seen countless photos of the Chocolate Hills at Cebu + Bohol but nothing prepared me for seeing thousands of perfectly rounded hills stretching to the horizon. It's genuinely surreal. The tarsiers were impossibly adorable and our guide was very educational about their vulnerability.
Nature and culture in perfect balance
Cebu + Bohol beautifully combines natural wonders with rich historical and cultural heritage. The centuries-old churches, the Chocolate Hills geological wonder, the indigenous wildlife — an incredibly diverse destination packed into a manageable itinerary.
