About this tour
Batanes, located at the northernmost tip of the Philippines, is known for its breathtaking scenery, clean environment, and rich Ivatan culture. Surrounded by dramatic coastlines, rolling hills, hidden coves, cream-colored beaches, and rugged boulder shores, it is one of the country’s most beautiful and peaceful destinations. Even closer to Taiwan than Manila, Batanes offers a unique Filipino travel experience shaped by the warmth and hospitality of its people. The islands are home to iconic attractions such as the naturally formed Mahayaw Arch in Sabtang, while their history traces back around 4,000 years to Austronesian settlers who lived in fortified mountain villages called idjangs. Visitors can also enjoy authentic Ivatan cuisine, including uved or tabtab, a traditional comfort food made from banana pith mixed with meat and fish.
