Snorkeling was world-class

The reef at Boracay is in genuinely excellent condition — one of the healthiest I've snorkeled in the Philippines. We saw parrotfish, lionfish, a hawksbill sea turtle, and what I'm fairly sure was a blue-spotted stingray. The biodiversity is astonishing for how accessible this spot is.

The colors are that vivid in real life

I'd seen hundreds of photos of Boracay online and thought they were heavily edited. They weren't. The water really is that shade of blue-green. The sand really is that white. Absolutely breathtaking and worth every bit of effort to get here.

Great for solo travelers too

Traveled alone to Boracay and was matched with a really lovely group from different countries. The guide was great at facilitating conversation and making everyone feel included. Made two new travel friends I'm still in contact with months later.

Went back for a second trip!

Loved Boracay so much the first time that we booked again a few days later for friends who arrived late to the island. Both trips were excellent. Slightly different route the second time but equally beautiful stops everywhere. Truly special.

Bucket list destination: checked!

Had Boracay on my bucket list for years and finally made it happen. Zero regrets. The whole experience from booking to the actual trip was completely smooth. Our guide grew up locally and his stories about the place added so much depth to every stop we made.
