Intramuros is a must-see
The walled city in Dumaguete is absolutely fascinating. Walking through centuries of colonial history while our guide brought the stories to life was exceptional. The calesa ride through the old streets was a fun touch. This place has so much more depth than most visitors realize.
Comfortable and well-organized
Air-conditioned transport, comfortable pace, thoughtful itinerary through Dumaguete. The guide was professional and punctual at every stop. Lunch at the local restaurant our guide chose was excellent. A great introduction for any first-time visitor to the city.
Night tour was a highlight
The evening section of the Dumaguete tour was particularly impressive. Seeing the city lit up at night, with the old churches dramatically illuminated and the food markets in full swing, added a completely different dimension to the experience. Highly recommend the full-day version for this reason.
Great food tour component
The food stops throughout Dumaguete were a revelation. From fresh lumpia at the wet market to halo-halo at a heritage café, every bite told a story about the local culture. Our guide was clearly passionate about the food scene and it enriched the whole experience.
History came alive
I expected a typical tourist bus tour in Dumaguete but this was completely different. Small group, walking pace, genuine stories from a guide who loves this city. We ended up in animated conversations with locals at every stop. The best way to experience a Filipino city.
Excellent city introduction
Perfect way to understand Dumaguete in a short time. Our guide took us through historical areas, local markets, and hidden gems I would never have found on my own. The contrast between ancient structures and ultra-modern developments is striking. Great commentary throughout.
