Fantastic guide made all the difference
Everything was well-included at Bohol and nothing felt rushed. Our guide was funny, informative, and completely flexible — we spent extra time at the Chocolate Hills viewpoint for photos and he adjusted without hesitation. That customer-first attitude is genuinely rare.
Tarsiers are absolutely precious
Seeing tarsiers in their natural habitat around Bohol was such a special experience. They're impossibly small and those enormous eyes are the most endearing thing. The sanctuary is run responsibly and our guide made sure we maintained quiet and respectful distance throughout.
Nature and culture in perfect balance
Bohol beautifully combines natural wonders with rich historical and cultural heritage. The centuries-old churches, the Chocolate Hills geological wonder, the indigenous wildlife — an incredibly diverse destination packed into a manageable itinerary.
Chocolate Hills exceeded the hype
I'd seen countless photos of the Chocolate Hills at Bohol but nothing prepared me for seeing thousands of perfectly rounded hills stretching to the horizon. It's genuinely surreal. The tarsiers were impossibly adorable and our guide was very educational about their vulnerability.
Loboc River lunch was a highlight
Floating down the Loboc River near Bohol on a bamboo raft while a local band plays and fresh Filipino food is laid out around you — it's a uniquely wonderful experience. The river scenery is lush and beautiful. Highly recommend adding this to any itinerary here.
