2D1N Batanes Itbayat Tour (Private)
About this tour
Itbayat, Batanes, is a remarkable destination known for its untouched natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. As the northernmost municipality of the Philippines, located around 200 kilometers from the southern tip of Taiwan, it is also the largest of the three inhabited islands of Batanes. The municipality includes several smaller islands such as Di'nem, Siayan, Misanga, Ah'li, and Mavulis, most of which remain uninhabited. Reaching Itbayat is usually done by boat, often through the traditional Ivatan faluwa, with travel time taking around 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on weather conditions. Visitors are rewarded with breathtaking landscapes featuring dramatic cliffs, rolling hills, and historic attractions like Torongan Cliff and the sacred Axurud. Itbayat also holds deep cultural significance as an Ancestral Domain with a CADT, making it the first municipality in Batanes to receive such recognition. Its remote setting and rugged coastline make Itbayat a truly unique destination for travelers seeking adventure and authentic cultural experiences.
